Deposit Anywhere™ gets you one step closer by allowing you to deposit cheques quickly and securely with your smartphone or tablet. Deposit Anywhere™ is a free service and just as secure as physical cheque cashing. Most deposits are completed in less than a minute.
How it works:

Open the RCU app on your mobile device.

Select Deposit.

Select account and enter the amount.

Snap a photo of the front and back of your cheque.

Confirm the details.

Send.

Write "Deposited" and the date on the cheque.

Throw your cheque away. (Yes. We just said that.)
Once you have deposited your cheque, you can throw it away after 120 days. It is safe to do so because the cheque will have been completely processed and settled by that time. If you have any questions, please contact us.
